Foi a notícia RIAA launches RI Academy in Canada, India que pode ler aqui que nos levou a este post. Sublinhemos esta passagem:
«“It meets the continual need for education in the finance sector,” O’Connor said. “At the [Principles for Responsible Investment] PRI conference in Cape Town last year, it was a theme that came up a lot – the need for education. We have seen a lot more large investment organisations, pension funds and other institutional investment managers, approaching us about training their staff. What is needed is a consistent understanding and a consistent foundation on the business case for responsible investment. The RI Academy continues to be a really good tool for doing that because it is flexible. [People can do it] in their own time and it can fit around otherwise busy schedules, rather than doing a face-to-face course. It is exciting and we’re really pleased to have these relationships.”
The RI Academy offers a broad-based framework for understanding responsible investment and as such, did not need to be tailored to fit particular regulatory frameworks in either Canada or India, O’Connor said.»
E sobre a RI Academy Canada: «The Responsible Investment Association is launching the RI Academy in Canada. It is increasingly important to understand how environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors affect shareholder and stakeholder value. As a result, demand for professional ESG training is increasing. The RI Academy meets this demand». +
